Sound the Jubilee on Atonement

Right now on the Sabbath of Return the Sign of Revelation 12 has formed. Up until now, it was thought that the Rapture of the Church would occur on the Feast of Trumpets before the Revelation 12 Sign. That Feast is past and here we are with the Sign being fulfilled with no other counterpart available. This is it.

One primary aspect of the previous layout–Rapture, Sign, then Tribulation, was the taking into consideration of Paul’s statement of “the Last Trumpet” in 1 Corinthians 15:52. This seemed to require that the Rapture occur first before the Sign that came after it.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. –1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Many Bible scholars in the past concluded “the last trumpet” referred to the last trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets based on tradition. This has apparently set us up for failure. It also made sense that the Feast of Trumpets was next on the checklist since the first four feasts saw fulfillment at the time of Christ’s first coming. Much of the traditions surrounding the Feast of Trumpets also seemed to lend credibility to the themes of the Rapture. The trouble is the Sign is for real, it has happened, and the Feast of Trumpets is done. That option is off the table. The question then is, is there a better option to fulfill the Rapture of the Church?
