Pope Francis: Inequality Is The Root Of Social Evil

This was the Pope’s tweet on Monday after Sunday’s canonization mass, which drew 800,000 people. Obama profiled the Pope for Time’s list of 100 Most Influential People:

“His Holiness has moved us with his message of inclusion, especially for the poor, the marginalized and the outcast…His message of love and inclusion, his regard for “the least of these,” distills the essence of Jesus’ teachings and is a tonic for a cynical age. May we heed his humble example.”

This statement seems fairly straightforward and a positive message for the good of all. I am skeptical about the real meaning knowing that our president is a Muslim and in his belief, Jesus was only a prophet, not the Son of God. Take that bit of info and couple it with the creation of a One World Religion and the statement reads very differently. Once the Christians have been raptured, someone will come forward to bring everyone together under one religion promoting love, inclusion and oneness….except that love will not be for Jesus, the Son of God.
