Boston Tops 100 Inches Of Snow, Experiences Coldest Months Ever

Boston just experienced 100 inches of snow in a season for just the second time in recorded history and experiences the coldest months ever, breaking the record in Boston for most sub-freezing days ever seen in February. Overnight the season total rose to 101.8 inches. That’s less than 6 inches shy of the all-time record of 107.6 inches set in the winter of 1995-96. Boston has smashed several snowfall records, including snowiest February and snowiest all-time month, as one snowstorm after another pummeled New England.
